Founder Bob visits the Hub

We were delighted to welcome the Weymouth Foodbank founder Bob Mockett to the Hub today.  Bob and his wife Lily had the vision to start the Foodbank almost 10 years ago. At first they stored the food in their loft - things have certainly moved on since then.  Bob explained that even before the due opening date, they were being contacted by social workers with clients who were desperate for food.  He was sad that in this day and age that there was still the need for Foodbanks. However, he was delighted to see that we are geared up to meet the growing need in the town.
