Foodbank usage to August 2023

In the 8 months to August 2023 we had 4,573 clients picking up food, compared with 2,616 for the same period in 2022. This represents a 75% increase. We have already helped more clients in the 8 months to date than we did for the 12 months of 2022. We have provided food lasting around 4 days to more than 9000 people.  The cost of living crisis is hitting the people of Weymouth hard.  We are grateful for the food and monetary donations that are allowing us to meet this need. We are spending around £2,000 a week to buy food to supplement donated food, so if you are in a position to give financially, please visit our donations page.
